AQC is among the most experienced indoor air quality
consulting firms in the United States, having
performed IAQ evaluations at thousands of
facilities, spanning 47 States and Canada, all from
our offices in the Tampa Bay, Florida area.
Although specializing in office and commercial
facilities, we have performed IAQ evaluations in
numerous medical, educational and residential
environments, as well.
We use only qualified, experienced and certified field
personnel in the performance of our field
evaluations, and our surveyors use only
state-of-the-art contaminant detection equipment.
Due to daily variations of indoor air contaminant
levels, AQC’s standard operating protocol for the
evaluation of indoor air quality is to measure a
host of environmental comfort factors at several
times of day, in multiple locations throughout a
facility. In this manner, we can provide the
most accurate IAQ evaluation possible. Using
direct-reading instrumentation, AQC can make
judgments and test hypotheses while on site,
limiting the need for return visits and extended
sampling protocols, thereby giving our clients the
most accurate and cost-effective IAQ information
possible.
Standard IAQ evaluations are tailored to individual
requests and/or occupant complaints, but generally
include measurement and evaluation of at least the
following:
 |
|
Temperature |
 |
|
Relative Humidity |
 |
|
Carbon Dioxide |
 |
|
Carbon Monoxide |
 |
|
Total Airborne Particulate |
 |
|
Total Volatile Organic Compounds |
 |
|
Moisture/Mold Evaluation |
 |
|
HVAC Inspection |
 |
|
Historical Documentation Review |
The results
of the data measurement are compared to recommended
indoor air quality guidelines, as published by
ASHRAE, EPA, ACGIH, AIHA and OSHA.
